• Our game topic is actions . We want the people that are playing this game to learn that when something horrible happens in our community we have to help and do our best. In my team are 2 persons is Ariel and me and Ariel had Hurricane Katrina Topic & I had about Yellowstone, so I said is really hard to think about a game about Yellowstone and really easy to make a game about Hurricane Katrina and than we decided that Hurricane Katrina was going to be about our game.

• Well, the game is going to be hard at the end we are going to put allot of people in danger so the kids or people that play the game would know that helping the community is hard, but it makes a difference.

• We play a game that is kinda of the same of what we are doing it but our helps you more , and it gives you more clues.

• Our game has been totally been good and it has changed alot, because we didn't know what to do but we started to work as a team and everything started changing and we knew what to do.
• Mastering Flash is better because you get to trace things that you don't know how to do.It makes the drawing easier to draw.

• The changes were that we made the game how we wanted to work and that we are going to make it as fun as we can.

Imagining Your Game

I am writing my game for people who are between  12 and Up years old. The person who plays my game must be able to pass the levels and know how to play and know how to use the arrow keys. Since my topic is  action  the player must already know about  moving the mouse and knowing how to.My players will learn about the details of my topic, such as moving the ball and getting the star.The environment for my game will look like in the sky at day and night.This setting will add to the learning of my game by reading the instructions and reading at the first tip.The environment of my game will help the player learn by knowing how to put the ball in to the big ball like putting trash in a trash can.The player will need to use their knowledge of  using the arrow  keys and knowing how to read in order to play the game.A game is a better way of under standing my topic than a quiz because they would review of what they learn in the game.: The topic for my game is action. The reason I chose this topic is because it makes you excited and makes you know how to play better. I learned some pretty interesting facts about my topic. For example making the character fallow each others .Also, knowing how to move the characters by using the arrow keys. I  was really surprised to learn that I know a diffrent game in cool math that I would like to play next time .

Tempest In Cresent City

I play the game and it is call Tempest In Crescent City, what I realise or learn from that game is that when you help the people they don't care if you already help the to get out.What they want is water or a food so they would get out other people just get out and are happy because they help them.
   Another thing about the game, is that in the game I have to help the people and get them out of the roofs.We help them get out of the roofs because in the movie they told us that some people stay in the house.What happen is that there was a flood so they had to get out and the house was fool of water so the climb in top of the roofs and they scream for help and they had to get them out from there.Another people die in there because they didn't fund the door from the roof and another house didn't had the little door.
  The game has the water going up each level the water is going up because in the hurricane the water was leveling up,and because that's what happen in the hurricane Katrina.What inspire me allot is the game because it shows you what happen and what you would do if that happens to us.The game makes me inspire the sadness because it really sad to know that people die and parent lost there child and children lost there parents.

Darfur Is Dying :)

We play a game that it is call Dar fur is dying  and when I play it I learn allot of things.What I learn from that game is that Darfur is a really small place where the Janjaweed attack them.What I learn from that game to is that they need to forage for water and the smaller kids when they go git water they don't get that much and the woman gets more water but runs slower.I learn to that they have to wait a wile so they would get Medical supplies.
     When you play there's some difference in the game and the difference are that if you forage for water with a child that is really young is gonna run faster but not getting that much water.If you get an older child or the woman you get more water and run more slower.The game tells you how they live when you go to camp and you click on the queston mark it tells you how they live.
     When you go to camp is really fun because you get to plant food and catch up a level.It is fun to because you get to learn about Darefur.Learning about Darfur sounds really fun because is a really experience that you can have.
 Theres this questons that they ask you is you want to send a letter to thae president or share on Facebook I think they put that so they would know that they really need help and learn there expirences.I think to that they wnat to share it so they would learn that theres other people in the world that they need help on.
    It  inspire me to make like a game because I think is sad how they live and ecpesually thinking how they rape the womans.Imagine if they did that to you or heat you or kill your family.I think you wont like to have that life thats the reoson they need help.

Steve Jobs was a man that invent the apple and that make this world a diffrence.I think he did allot of thin gs and that he is a really important person.What I have learn today about Steve Jobs is that he is a hero and that he is an inspiration that made technology.And if wornt for him my favorite movies wouldnt exist.He is a big inspiration to me because he made my life happy.

Playing To Learn

Right know my idea for my genre for my game is action because what my game is about walking and running really fast so the caracther would get whahht he wants.I think thats what I want because I think It matches with my game.I learn t hat genres are really important to review because it is a part that you need to know for your game.What I learn too from the games that I like  is that they are really interesting and they have new things that you would like to have because they look good on a game.The game teach me how to see that helping each other from the community would work out.  Tempest in Crescent City is one because its really interesting how the flood  is happening and how you have to help the people.
   The question that I have is how did they make the flood happen? and how do you make the people come out of the house?.

Be The Change

On Saturday we participated on  be  the change what we did is we went to make a mulch in each tree.What I think about that day it was that it was really easy and it wasn't that hard.I was in Ms.Fox group but it was only Ms.Fox,Alejandra,Rudy,Karla,and me we all did about 9 or 10 mulches on the trees.They help allot because we did allot of trees and we fix other ones that wernt done right.We help on the other ones that were not done right because then they were not going to help on the trees and we fix them to so they will say that we did a nice job.I would like to participate on other activity like painting Parks, School, or places were they need help on.I want to help on that because that's ab activity that I ♥ to do & an activity that we can help on.

Mini Game:)!

My mini game was hard at the end because there was more codes to put in our actions and more problems to come.When I got to the step of putting the score I was going crazy because my game was getting allot of problems the carrot wasn't going up and down and the score was going really fast and with out doing anything.I asked for help but they couldn't help me because I had to look in the mini game.
I started to think and I didn't fix it at all because my carrot couldn't go up and down.
       The best part was when my dollard was moving and coming back because it was really hard to me and I steel did it.I think is the best part because it looked really cool and it was really interesting that I could make it moved.The worst part of my game si when I got to the score step it was really hard because I mest up all of my steps and I had to start all over and my head was hearting.

Children of Heven

Ali is boy that does thing's for his mom and family because his mom is sick from her back and Ali and his sister always worked.Ali went to grave food at the store but in each store there family old money and they didn't pay because they were really poor and they need it money.Ali sister took care of his little brother and took care of the house.Ali lost his sister shoes and Ali's sister was really mad at him because she said what was she going to do with out her shoes so they got an Idea and they were going to try the Snickers that Ali had.Ali was worry because he was getting late to school because they were trying shoes. His day was looking for a job so he took Ali so they went t a long trip to ask for a job the dad didn't know how to ask for a job so Ali help him and at the last house they found a job so Al played with the boy at the house and sleep him and his father worked.At the end when they finished the dad got payed and it was allot of money. Then Ali got in the bicycle and told his dad that Sara the sister need it shoes so they were talking when the bicycle couldn't stop so they fail down and Ali's father got hurt.Ali went to school and they found otu that they were going to be a race and if he was 3rd place he would win the snickers so he got in the race. The day he  went to the race he won but he won 1st place so he didn't won the  snickers he won a trip.He came home really sad and his sister was really mad.When he took his shoes of he had really bad feet so he put them in water. Then his dad went and bought them some shes and they were really happy.
          It caind of did because all of the people wasn't poor and they wasn't terrorist.Another thing is that the city was really big and I tough that the city was really poor. The thing that did match is that the woman's cover there body and that they don't have that much fancy close that they sale in the U.S.A.That wen they go to church they do believe in Allah.Ali is a boy that works hard for his family and a really smart. I know that because at the movie they show that Ali was always working.

What Happend?

What happened in 9/11 is that there was a big plain flying all the way to New York.When the plains got there it went to the twin towers.They were able to safe people and they were able to help the community but the people that were working inside the tower were the air plains heat they die. Some other people that were in the tower that  knew that they were going to dye so the call there family and say bye and said that  they were going to dye.Then about 3,000 people die and about 40,000 people dye. People were praying because some of there family were in there and there parent might dye so they pray so they would be safe but some weren't.Then time happened and another plain heat the pentagon on Washington D.C and more people dye.What people worked in the Pentagon were like solders that help the U.S.A but allot of people die.

Single Story

A single story is  when someone judges about you because you don't look like them and they think  that you are different because your skin color,you speak Spanish or you don't speak Spanish,your not from the U.S.A,and some people think that your poor because your Mexican or when you look like your not from the U.S.A.For example when  I got to school the tough I didn't speak Spanish and I ask them ''why?'' and they always say because your face and your voice don't sound like if you were Mexican.What I have heard in my culture is that when ever they see a boy like my brother they think that he is Mexican and that he doesn't have papers.I think that people should just stop saying how you look like because sometimes they make people feel sad or angry.I have heard that people that are white are rich and they have good schools to go.What I can investigate about it is take a picture of a person that look Mexican,white,and a person that is African American.If I make a game about an Mexican getting told that he don't belongs in the united states and that you need to stop them.You go to the next level and you try to stop more people.
 

Cyberbully

What I have learned from last week about cyberbully is that we all have to learn that words heart and that we need to watch what we do because we are hearting our self when we bully and other people. What I learned to is that I should never give out personal information and that you should never give out passwords,address,or other personal information to people that you don't trust.You should only give personal information to your teacher,parents,and people that you know that are not going to tell them.If I bully I feel like I'm in a big situation of a problem.What I would say is that I haven't bully nobody  because I would not want to be a victim of those people. The people that had been bully they can talk to people about there story.That's the way that I think cyberbully would work. If I was the caracther I would change it by making it more sad like the one that was getting bully would kill her self. What I really think to is that they don't need to change it and I wouldn't really think is a bad caracther.

First Week of School

My first day of school was fun and not that boring like a taught.I was really nervous because I didn't knew were my classes were going to be but I remember really fast when they told us were it was going to be. At the end I was really happy because I got to see again my friends. My teachers were the most exiting thing because I didn't really know how they were going to be and if they teach good. I already know they are not that boring but the thing is that the first week they really talk too much so it was not that much of doing things it was mostly all of the classes hearing the teachers talk. My classmates were really funny and I mostly know them all. What I'm looking forward this year is too not get a referral like last year and get A&B's so I would always be in athletics. I'm really scared that I would Get tiger tracks but I'm going to do my best this year.

Apollo 13

I felt the movie was really fun because it is really interesting.It Started out that the astronauts were in fire and die in an accident.Then in July 20,1969 and it was that another astronauts where going to the moon and they call it Apollo 13.So they practice day by day and they got ready to go to the moon.In April 10 1970 they were ready to beyond.They got to other space but in day 3 April 13 1970 they were not ok because at night the oxygen thank got exploted.The told the mens that help them and they figure out how to come back.Theres two parts of the rocket and the second part they had to put keys so it would let thenm go back to Earth.Thery did it and they did there misson to come back when they were coming a man got sick but he got ok.Know one of the austronauts family is all ok.Before going the austronaut the one that was going to go didnt go because they tought he was going to get the miseles and thats when yuh are little before you get sick but he never did but eithe wise he didint go to the moon and neven the other ones that were in trouble.

What I Learned From My Game

Golden Corral

• Yesterday 5/1/11 I went to golden corral and it was 15th time going and it was really cool because we stay there like to 10-11 o'clock .I think it was really cool because I ate chocolate ice cream and with candy like M&M's,nut, marshmallows,frosting.and allot of more things and it was really gewwd.Ohh and I ate to macaroni.biscut,chicken,smash potato with gravy,pancakes,tamales,lots of lots of water.The most lovly thing that I love from Golden Corral was the chocolate founter with marshmellows,strwberys,and apple.The last and not least thing is that I saw Gloria.♪)

Stand And Deliver

Stand and Deliver is a movie about learning and not giving up.It is a movie of learning and not giving up because his students never give up and they learned allot from Jaime Escalente the teacher that helped them from being dumb and now he teach them to learned.Jaime Escalante is a very good teacher if he wouldn't be there the students that pass would drop out of school.They were people that didn't give up because they first did the test and they say that they cheat.If they wouldn't did again to prove them they didn't cheed the movie wouldn't exist and they would not be a movie about giving up.!!!!!!!!!!!:)

The Big Test

The TAKS is coming and I'm not ready for it because I sell think that I need more practice and learn more.I'm really nervous and I feel like I'm going to lose my power.But like the 7th graders told us don't give up and don't feel like you are gong to fail cuz your not.I think is kind of true but I'm not that sure because I really do think that im going to fail.But the good thing to think right now is that I'm going to pass.

iPads Enchance Learning In Some Fayette Classrooms!!:p

I think it is really cool to have iPads in 2nd grade and that you can do allot things in it. I think is good because if you are going to have iPads and you are not going to buy supplies.I think that not buying supplies is cool and especially for poor people they can save that money for another thing.But what I think it is not cool is like if they break one and they are poor how are they going to pay it and then if imagine half of the class already break iPads that wouldn't be cool.Ir another thing is that they need to get better at writing imagine getting to 3rd grade and having allot of trouble to write and write so ugly that wouldn't be cool.Those are the things I think of having iPads.!!!

Playing Games to Get Ideas

We had to get ideas from cool math so we can put or learn of our Game Project.What I really got ideas is on Bricks Breaking I could put little cubs and try to get three or more that is the same as decimals and fractions.Then the decimals and the fraction to match them are going to get harter and harter. But I can't put it on my game because is about Justin Bieber.But I thing if I should toughed of it I should it be doing that game but I didn't.Ohh and I got an idea to put my back ground like put night,day,in California,or in a stage.Those are the thing that I got from the games on cool math.

What I have learned new in flash is how to drag and drop.I think drag and drop is really easy to do because yuh just have to learned hot do it.If yuh now how to do it well good for yuh because yuh now how to drag and drop.

I think the president Obama needs to come hear cuz in this school we are smart.I think to that he needs to come because kids get really good grades like me.

Its about a boy name Jimmy and he want to go to California.At the beginning it was showing that he was going to California walking.Then the police saw him and took him to a room.Then his brother was tayer so he was going to California  with his brother Jimmy.So they  pass trough allot of things so they went to a store they realize that he was good at playing in that machine stores.So that's how they get money by doing bets that Jimmy can bit them up.One day they didn't won so the old them money to this boy that his name is Lucas.So they get to Los Angeles so they can Winn the competition of winning 50,000 by being the first place of playing the game high score.When they were going thru all that they were this man that founds kids to try to get them and the dad.And this girls was helping Jimmy and his brother.So they were passing by California and Jimmy said stop and they stop because they caught the boy that was the dad so they run to see what Jimmy was doing he always had a lunch box were he had pictures of her sister that dye.So Jimmy was running to the place of Dinosaurs to let the lunch box were her sister was happy and had allot of fun.The last thing is that they were all together again and the they 3 gave a kiss.

Future-Prompt

In 5 years I'm going to be  16 and be at High School and have my own car.On 10 years I would be 21 and I'm going to be working on Rue21 so I would get money and pay for college so I would be a doctor and get my own stuff.On 15 years I'm going to be 26 and I'm going to be rich and have the best car in the word . Paper Prototype Reflection

How has making a paper prototype helped you plan your game? It helped me on preparing me to do the next game.When they told us to do the papaer prototype they taech us how we need to have a perfect game and how it has to look good.I think it help me on learning how we need to get better at it.Imagine if they hadnt talk to us how to do it we shold it had it horrible.What i now it helped everbody to learn that you need to make it look good if not no body wanted to play the game.

My favorite thing to do?

My favorite thing to do is go shopping.That's my favorite thing to do because they are new things that come out and I go shopping and go buy it.I like to get new things so when we are out of dress code or the week end I can use really cool stuff. The performance was so cool because they dance and rap.The dancing,raping,and reading fast was so cool I think the singing was so cool because the story that the girl rap was interesting.I like the man that was reading fast and I think he name it the spoken world.Well they were all cool but when the 2mans were dancing they were so cool they did now how to dance and move.The message was that you can be any color but we always can be together.

More Thoughts On Globaloria.

Before I start using computers I new already how to use them but I didn't now how to work on blogger or make a game or even what was Globaloria.After using I learn how to use all of that and that was very fun.I'm steel exited of learning more stuff so I can now how to do other stuff.I  think is exited because I now that learning more I can learn how to do cooler stuff and teach my sisters and brothers how to use more the computer.

Globaloria Reflection

One thing that I have learn is how to work on a team and be more responsible.My favorite thing of Globaloria is when you get to blog because i love typing.I now that Globaloria would help me on my future because I'm learning how to use a computer and thats what I'm going to use when I get my work, and because it is teaching me how to do and learn much better things.

The final is that they all did the last competition of wining medals.They all practecing so they can win the trophy and be the best dancers from all those schools.So now they all telling the students to move good and do there best so they can win that big trophy but if they don't win they can still winn  next your or the other year or the other on or even more but they going to get to win. So is now the day to compete  and the teacher is doing to the boys and girls there hear.They all ready and start to dance.The INDIGO is winning and they all screaming.So now they got the ones of 3rd 2nd and the ones of 1st are competting that are the INDIGO and the ORANGE team.So they are dancing wild the people are scrteaming and getting surpprised how they dance.And the winners are the INDIGO becise they did there best job so they get the big 1st place trophy.

Is about withe and blacks.It was about a guy named Malcolm and his fiend went to prison and he dint like god.Them he learned by a men how to believe on his self Malcolm said that a man won $600 and he lied and he run away so they wont kill him.What happens at the end is that Malcolm and his friend learn there mistakes and then this guy came and kill Malcolm.Then they got the men and they got him and start hitting him.

My advantages of being on a team  is cool because you get to have a mind and think together.And it would help you to do your work and do it more faster.My disadvantage are that some times we can't decide of something.Some times we want something else but you can only decide one thing.Those are my advantage and my disadvantages that I know that happens.

What did you learn from watching The Pact?I learned that we should all go to college and get our job that we really want to.And even if you are an African American you can go to college  and get your job,and it dosen't matter if your family do the drugs or do bad things you can be the first ones going to college.Did you make any connections from the movie to your own life?Yes I did because all my family says that only because my causins never get their chance to go to college I'm not going to get to go and because I'm going to Mexico but I now that I'Mm going to college.Do you have any questions that the movie made you think about?No I don't have any questons.

Winter Break

My winter brake was boring.I'm so glad to be back at school,because I think that at school I have allot of things that I can do, and I can have allot of stuff.What I think that it was fun on winter break was on Christmas and NEW YEAR DAY!!!!.Well I only now that Christmas was fun because I got a CHI strainer,and my JORDAN'S.Well i love NEW YEAR because the firework were so cool and I was with my family well not with all because kind of half of them were on MEXICO.So I'm so glad to come back to school.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥<3
